Masala Chapathi




When we are bored of having plain chapatis, this masala chapathis give a break. This chapathis are exceptionally soft and does not need any special side dish. Very comfort for lunch box and travel.

Ingredients for making Masala Chapathi:


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whole wheat flour 4 cups

Curd  2 tb spoons

Red chilli powder 1/2 tea spoon

Cumin seed powder 1/4 tea spoon

Turmeric powder a pinch

Finely grated ginger 2 tea spoons

Coriander seed powder 1 tea spoon

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Salt

Garam masala powder a pinch



How to make Masala chapathis:


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mix all the ingredients mentioned above well and add required water and knead to soft dough. Take small balls out of it and roll chapathis as usual. Cook it on tawa with oil or ghee as you prefer. The spicy and hot chapathis are ready to eat now with any raitha or curd or simple dal.
