Wheat Sweet Dosa (Gothumai Vella Dosa)

A traditional and Easy to Make Sweet Dosa. My mom often used to make this as evening tiffin to have after we return from school.The soft dosa with aroma of ghee and jagerry and the small bites of coconut gives an exotic taste.....

Ingredients for making Wheat Sweet Dosa:







 

 

 

 

Whole wheat flour 2 cups

Raw rice flour 1/2 cup

Powdered jagerry  1 1/2 cup

Cardamompowder 1/2 tea spoon

Grated coconut 2 tb spoons

Ghee 4 tb spoons


How to make Wheat Sweet Dosa?


In 2 cups of warm water dissolve the powdered jagerry and filter it to remove the dusts.

Add the jagerry water, cardamom powder, grated coconut  to the wheat and rice flour and mix well.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Add water to bring it to dosa batter consistency.

Heat a dosa tawa and make dosas as usual dosas with ghee and cook on both sides.

Serve hot.
