Soft and Delicious Tomato Parathas

An easy to make Paratha that tastes sour, tangy, spicy and mild sweet. Kids love to take this soft and fluffy ones for lunch box. A different kind of tasty Paratha in which you can adjust the spiciness according to your need.Of course Paratha is the loveable dish  we love to have as breakfast, Lunch and dinner....

Ingredients for making Soft and Delicious Tomato Parathas:


Whole Wheat Flour 4 cups
Red Ripened Tomatoes 5
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Ajwain seeds 2 tea spoons
Cumin seed powder 1/2 tea spoon
Oil 2 tb spoons



How to make Soft and Delicious Tomato Parathas?


Wash the tomatoes and chop them. Add the salt, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder to it and grind to paste.
Put the Ajwain seeds in to the flour and add the tomato paste and oil to it.
Knead well with hand.
If needed add water and knead to soft roti dough. Let the dough be tight.
























Take a large lemon size ball out of it and with a rolling pin make big round.
Apply 1/4 tea spoon of oil or ghee and spread on it and fold to semi circle.
Again spread the oil and fold to quarter.
Now roll it to a bigger size.
With the help of a knife cut the corners and bring it to a square.
Make few squares at a time.
























Heat the tawa.
Place three or four squares on the tawa at sides and roast on both sides with oil.
Serve with melting butter and pickle.
