Crispy Dosa with Leftover rice

Do you have leftover rice cooked for lunch? You can make yummy, crispy dosa for dinner with those rice.  Here is the recipe for this simple dosa...


Pre time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Serves: 4


Ingredients for making Crispy Dosa with Leftover rice:


Boiled rice 2 cups
Rice flour 2 cup2
Whole wheat flour 1 cup
Onions 2
Tomatoes 1
Green chillies 3
Ginger piece an inch
Curd 100 ml
Salt to taste
Oil for making dosa




How to make Crispy Dosa with Leftover rice?


In a blender add the boiled rice, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger  with curd and little water and grind to paste.


Then in a bowl take rest of the flours and salt ,  add water and mix well and bring to pouring consistency and add the stuff in the blender to it and mix well  like a dosa batter.


Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with oil.


Pour a ladle of water and make a thin dosa by spreading it around.
Smear few drops of oil.


Once it is cooked flip off to other side and cook for 30 seconds.
Now the crispy dosa is ready.

My biggest struggle on the kitchen is overboiling or even burning up beans, grains, rice etc. Somehow I manage to loose time each time I cooking, so each time water dissolves to the point that heat burns my meal ( Likely, I read best rice cooker for brown rice reviews and get one. For those who don't have enough time to constantly look for the watch I recommend doing the same. And yes, enjoy the three beans chilly turkey, just in time you'll need it, just in time... Delicious, thanks for the recipe!
