We also at home do the oth...What you said is right. We also at home do the other method of making this with Jaggery with coconut. When my son was very small I used to fry this and I familiarised this vegetable.. Slowly he started liking the other version of boiling and sauteing.. My mother-in-law makes this recipe...HI,<br /> My mother-in-law makes this recipe same way as you make. We need to celebrate the bitterness of this vegetable and not try to kill it by deep frying and make it lose other nutrients along with it. This vegetable is good for many ailments as all of us know. I cut this vegetable into small pieces and make it with uppu, kaaram, some jaggery, corriander powder, in gingely oil and like this more than lady's finger curry. This is my take on this vegetable.
