Paneer Pulao is truly a lip smacking rice variety favorite to most of us. The Spongy Paneer mixed with the Aromatic Basmati rice and Indian spices gives a delicious taste with the crunchy bites of Capsicum and Green Peas...
Wash Basmathi Rice and soak in water for 15 minutes. Then add 2 cups of water and boil it in a pan adding a tea spoon of oil. Once the water starts boiling give a smooth stir and close the pan with a lid.
Keep the flame in low and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Open the lid and see the water is absorbed fully and rice is cooked. If not boil for 2 more minutes and set aside.
Heat a Wok with 2 tea spoons of Butter and 1 tb spoon of Oil.
Saute it with cumin seeds. Add the clove, cinnamon and Bay leaves.
Add Onion and Slitted Green chillies. Fry till the Onion colour changes.
Add green peas and Capsicum. Fry for 2 minutes. Now add the pepper powder and required salt. Fry well.
Add the Paneer pieces and mix well.
Now add the boiled Basmathi rice to the wok and mix gently. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
