Uttapam is nothing but dosa made with different toppings. Onion and Tomato uttapam ranks first in Uttapam varieties. An ordinary dosa can be made rich, spicy, healthy and colourful by making small twists on the toppings made and in the shape of the Uttapam to make the kids to eat them. With the same dosa batter you can make different types of uttapam and surprise your guests with less efforts!!!

Set Dosa
An authentic Dosa Variety of Karnataka which is very soft, white and melts in mouth. Since it cooks very fastly, more dosas can be made in less time. These dosas are small, thick, songy and served in threes usually. They are served with Chutneys or Kurmas or Vadacurry. Vadacurry is the best combination for this Dosa.

A memorable day
Cookery Workshop!! What else a food blogger needs than this? Yes I was invited to conduct a demo session for the chefs of the The Janakiram Hotels - The most famous Restauraunt of our Halwa City, Tirunelveli. The theme of the workshop was to make traditional items/snacks of Tamilnadu using Millets. The owner of the Restauraunt Mr.Ramkumar has the intention of introducing these healthy, traditional millet snacks in to their regular menu too.
It was such a wonderful experience to work with the experienced chefs of Sri Janakiram Hotels. I was accompanied by my son to the workshop who was the mastermind of my foodblog!! Both of us were overwhelmed by the hospitality shown to us by each and every one there. All the ingredients needed were kept ready in advance and with the support of the people there I made Seven recipes in three hours like Ragi halwa, Millet Cutlet, Barnyard millet pepper kozhukattai, Little millet Ammini kozhukattai etc.,
Felt happy that I could also contribute something for creating awareness among the people towards healthy eating...
