Recipe for making Bread Halwa:

Take 10 sweet bread slices.

Powder them in a mixie.

Heat a heavy bottomed pan with 2 tb spoons of ghee.

Once the ghee is heated keep the flame low and roast the bread powder to golden brown colour.

Now add 3 cups (250 ml) of whole fat milk to it and stir well.

In few minutes the bread absorbs the milk fully and becomes like a paste consistency.

Now add 1 1/2 cups (Half of the measurement of bread powder) of sugar to it and stir well.

While stirring add 3 tb spoons of ghee.

Within 5 minutes the halwa will come like a ball without stirring to the pan.

Add roasted nuts, cardamom powder and stir.

Note:

If you are adding orange juice or pine apple juice don't add milk.

When you add carrot or apple boil them separately and add to the bread powder after adding milk.
