Ingredients for making Ragi Veg Tikkies:
Ragi Flour 1 cup (200gms)
Oil 2 tb spoons, Cumin seeds 1/4 tea spoon
Grated green veggies like carrot, beans, cabbage, capsicum 1 /2 cup
Green peas 1 tb spoon
Green chillies 2 tea spoons
Chopped tomatoes 1 tb spoon
Chana dal soaked inwater for 30 minutes 2 tb spoons
Whole wheat bread crump 1/2 cup
How to make Ragi Veg Tikkies?
Add some water to ragiflour and bring it to thick milkshake consistency(Idli Batter) and keep aside.
Heat a pan with 2 tea spoons of oil Add 1/4 tea spoon of cumin seeds and after it splutters add the onions and fry till the colour changes. Then add the tomaotes and a pinch of garam masala powder.
After stirring it for few seconds add green peas and grated veggies, chillies and chopped curry leaves. Add required salt too.
Fry them in medium flame for a minute. Now add the soaked chana dal without water and the ragi batter.
Till the batter comes to tight roti dough consistency keep stirring.
Switch off the stove and garnish with coriander leaves.
After the stuff gets cooled down add the whole wheat bread crumps to the stuff and knead the dough well.
