Remove the seeds after they get cooled down.
Add the gooseberries, coconut, salt, green chillies, ginger together and put them in a blender.
Grind them without adding water.
Transfer the paste to the curd and mix well.
Do the seasoning in a sauteing pan with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves and add to the raita.

Ingredients for making Nellikkai Pachadi / Amla Raita (Creamy Gooseberry Dip):
- Gooseberries /Amla /Nellikkai 5 or 6
- Fresh Curd / Unflavoured palin youghurt 300 ml or 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Green chillies 2 or 3
- Ginger piece 1/2 inch size, Coconut pieces few
- Oil 1/2 tea spoon
- Mustard seeds and Urad dal 1/4 tea spoon each
- Curry leaves few
How to make Nellikkai Pachadi / Amla Raita (Creamy Gooseberry Dip)?
