Cabbage Pakodas / Fritters

When you have craving to eat something crispy, hot and spicy, try this cabbage Pagodas that can be made very easily in no time. An ideal recipe to serve as starter too...

Ingredients for making Cabbage Pakodas / Fritters:

Cabbage 1/2 kg
Onions 2
Finely chopped green chillies and ginger 1 tea spoon each
Salt to taste
Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Rice flour 3 table spoons
Besan flour / Kadalai maavu 5 table spoons
Curry leaves and coriander leaves chopped
Oil for deep frying


How to make Cabbage Pagodas / Fritters?

In a chips grater grate the cabbage and onions.
Heat oil in a pan and mean while in a broad pan add all the ingredients except oil and mix well.



If needed sprinkle handful of water and mix well.
Immediately put in lots in to the oil and deep fry to crispy.
Note: 
Once the stuff is made ready, it should be fried immediately. Or else the onions tend to give out more water and it will become soggy.
