Ingredients for making Sweet and Spicy Tomato Pachadi:
- Well ripened but firm tomatoes 5
- Powdered Jagerry 5 table spoons
- Chopped dry fruits like almonds, Dates, Cashews and Pistachios 2 tb spoons
- Salt 1/8 tea spoon
- Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/4 tea spoon
- Fice flour or corn flour 1 tea spoon
- Ghee 3 tea spoons
- Mustard seeds 1 tea spoon, Red chilli - 1
Red chilli How to make Sweet and Spicy Tomato Pachadi?
In a tea spoon of ghee roast the dry fruits till they become brown, take them out and keep aside.
In the same pan add the rest of the ghee and do the seasoning with mustard, red chillies.
Once they splutter, add the chopped tomatoes and salt.
Let them fry in medium flame till they become mushy and pulpy.
Add 200 ml of water and allow to boil well.

Now add the jagerry powder too.
Till it becomes glossy and the jagerry reaches syrup consistency allow them to boil.
Add 1 tea spoon of rice flour or corn flour in half cup of water, mix well and add to the boiling stuff and keep stirring.
Now the stuff becomes thick and switch off the stove.
Garnish the with the roasted dry fruits.
