Multi Grain Dosa

A tasty and nutritious Instant Dosa that serves as a healthy breakfast  to start a day with. Its crispness and netted texture will surely tempt you to make this often...


Wheat flour 1 cup

Ragi flour 1 cup

Corn flour 1 tb spoon

Foxtail millet (Thinai) flour 1 tb spoon

Pearl millet (Kambu) flour 1/2 cup

Rice flour 2 tb spoon

Finely chopped onion,curry leaves, coriander leaves, cahews and green chillies as required.



Mix all the ingredients with water and salt and make a batter thinner than the  dosa batter consistency. Keep it aside for 30 minutes. Then heat the Tava and make dosas as we do for rava dosa. Don't spread the batter with the spatula on the tava  as we do for normal dosa. Pour it with a spatula in a circular manner by filling in the holes in between.  

The best side dish for this is Ginger - Tomato Chutney.


Note: For any dosa, the tava should not become too hot. Before making each dosa just sprinkle some water on the tava and make dosa. It helps to moderate the excess heat in the tava.
