Mushroom Masala Dosa

Ingredients for making Mushroom Stuffing:

  • Button Mushrooms 200 gms
  • Chopped onions from 2 onions
  • Tomatoes finely chopped  2 tb spoons
  • Capsicum finely chopped from 1 capsicum
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tea spoons
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 and 1/2 tea spoon
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil 2 tb spoons



How to make Mushroom Stuffing?

Wash the mushrooms well in running water dust free and chop them thinly.
Heat a pan with oil and saute it with cumin seeds.
After they splutter fry the onions with salt till they change the colour.
Add garlic ginger paste and stir till the raw smell goes.
Now fry tomatoes till they become mushy.
Add garam masala powder and red chilli powder and stir well.
Add the capsicum and mushrooms and stir for a while.
First the mushrooms give out water. After a while it gets dried.
Do the process in high flame.
Stir till the oil comes out and then garnish with coriander leaves.

How to make Mushroom Masala Dosa?

Heat the dosa tawa and grease it with oil.
Spread the batter with a ladle on the tawa thinly.
Drizzle few drops of oil.
Wait till the dosa gets cooked and the corners become crispy.
Take 2 tb spoons of mushroom masala and spread on the dosa.
Bring both the side of the dosa to the centre.The dosa now gets a rectangular shape.
Repeat the process for the other two sides too.
Transfer the dosa to a plate and cut the dosa into four quarters.
The spicy dosa pockets with mushroom masala is ready now.
