Bread Kuzhipaniyaram

Bread Kuzhipaniyaram is a  light tiffin / snack that gives me hand on Holiday evenings to serve as evening snack with tea. Very easy to make with less efforts. You will get golden, crispy kuzhipaniyarams than the regular ones...

Pre time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients for making Bread Kuzhipaniyaram:

Bread Slices 6 or 7 ( I used Multi grain bread)
Rice flour 1 cup
Sooji / Rawa / Semolina 1 cup
Maida / All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Finely chopped onions and grated veggies of your choice
Coarsely crushed pepper powder 1 tea spoon
Chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves

How to make Bread Kuzhipaniyaram?

Powder the bread slices in a blender.
Then mix every thing mentioned above well.
Add water and bring it to thick dosa batter consistency. In a sautéing pan in one spoon of oil do the seasoning with mustard seeds and add to the batter.

Heat the Appe pan. (Kuzhipaniyaram pan)
Grease it with oil.
Fill the craters in it with batter with a table spoon to half level.
Close it with a lid and wait for 3 to 4 minutes.
Then with a sharp knife of spoon flip off them, drizzle some oil and make the other side to cook for 2 more minutes.

Then take them off from the pan and serve.
Since it has veggies and pepper, it does not need any side dish.
