Butter milk / Diluted curd without lumps 500 ml Raw rice flour 2 full tea spoons Coconut oil 3 tea spoons Salt to taste, Red chilli powder 1/4 tea spoon slitted green chillies 3 Red chillies broken 3 Mustard seeds 1/2 tea spoon Urad dal 1 tea spoon Chana dal 1 tea spoon Fenugreek seeds/Venthayam 1 tea spoon Curry leaves
How to make Mor Venthasar?
Mix the rice flour with 1 cup of water well and keep aside. Heat a pan with oil and add mustard seeds, dals, chillies, fenugreek till they splutter and become golden brown. Now add a pinch of turmeric powder, red chilli powder and curry leaves. Pour the rice flour mixture into the pan. Let it to boil till it becomes thick like porridge well.
Now pour the butter milk inot the pan and mix well. Switch off the stove immediately. Now add the salt. The tasty Kuzhambu is ready. It also tastes very good to have as side dish with dosa and Idiyappam.
