Spicy Potato and Peas Curry

Potato and Peas is the perfect combination to make a dry curry or Sabji to have as a side dish for rice and also Chapathi. If fresh green peas is not available, it can also be done with the dried peas.




Potato and Peas curry Recipe:


Soak a cup of dried peas in water for 5 to 6 hours.


Pressure cook the required potatoes and Soaked dried peas separately and keep them aside.

 

Peel of the skin of boiled potatoes and mash them to pieces.


Take chopped Onions one cup.


Heat a kadai with 2 table spoons of oil.


Saute it with mustard seeds and Urad dal.


Fry Onions and curry leaves in it. Add required salt and chilli powder.


Now add the boiled peas and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the boiled potatoes and mix well. Keep the flame in medium and fry then for five minutes.


Now the hot and spicy curry is ready. Garam Masala Powder can be added if you want it to be more spicy.

  2. Even though you have lots of recipe posted, your site is not very impressive at all. There is no facility of printing the recipe and in all pages, most of the recipes are coming again and again. There is no classification as chutney varieties, breakfast varieties etc. Even I click the breakfast recipes on the left side of the blog, it is going to general one. Can you do some improvements in your blog to make it more attractive.

    1. Thanks for your concern and feed back. Please go to the Recipe index on the top of the page (Menu bar) below the Bhojana recipes to get all the classifications like chutneys, breakfast, rice varieties, gravy special, diet recipes etc., Still if it does not work pls inform me
