Cluster Beans is a vegetable (legume) with very high fibre and it has unique taste with mild sweetness. I made this curry with garlic, dal and coconut that enhanced its taste and flavour to great extend. This curry goes very well with sambhar rice and vathakuzhambu rice.

Wash the cluster beans and chop them to long pieces of 2 inches. Add salt and turmeric powder to it and pressure cook to 1 whistle and keep aside.
Heat a pan and boil the thur dal with some water. When the thurdal is half boiled add the boiled cluster beans to it and allow them to boil together till the cluster beans become soft and well boiled. While they are getting boiled grind coconut, red chillies and garlic to coarse powder and keep aside.
Once the water is fully absorbed and the pan is dry add the coconut stuff and stir well. Check out for salt. If needed add more. Keep the flame low.
In a sauteing pan heat oil and add mustard seeds, uard dal, cumin seed and curry leaves. Once they splutter add it to the stuff in the pan and mix well. Switch off the stove.
