How to make Foxtail Millet Dosa?

This millet needs more soaking time than the rice and other millets.

Wash the ingredients separately. Soak the millet separately for 6 hours and other ingredients together for 3 hours.

Then mix them together and grind to smooth batter with water and required salt in a mixie or wet grinder.

Allow the batter to ferment for an over night or 12 hours.

Then add some water before making dosa and mix well to get good consistency. Must be thinner than regular dosa batter.

Heat the tawa and make dosa as regular dosa cooking on both sides with a teaspoon of oil.

Serve hot with onion chutney or tomato chutney.
