Muzhu Ullunthu Dosa (Whole Blackgram Dosa)

Muzhu Ulunthu Dosai is the authentic dosa of Tirunelveli district. Usually we use dehusked  Blakgram or splitted one for making dosa. Here the wholegrain of Blackgram without removing the skin is used and hence it is packed with proteins and fiber. Blackgram is also rich in iron, calcium and Phosphorus.

I came to know about this Vellirikkai Dosa through a guest who visited us recently from Mangalore. She was telling about varieties of Dosa they make out of different veggies. One among them is Vellirikkai / Cucumber dosa. Since I had the Cucumber in hand the very next day I tried this Cucumber dosa. It came out very well and I was so happy that I learnt a new and tasty recipe which is also very easy. Cucumber Dosa doesnot need fermentation and can be made very easily without any flaw.
