Ingredients for making Wheat Bread Idli:

Wheat Bread slices 6 to 8
Oats  1 cup (100 gms)
Sooji (Semolina) 1 cup (100 gms)
Grated carrots from 2 carrots
Finely chopped green chillies 2
Mustard seeds and urad dal for seasoning
Oil 1 tea spoon
Curd or thick butter milk 250 ml
Salt to taste




How to Wheat Bread Idli?


Powder the bread slices to crumbs and keep aside.
Dry roast sooji and oats separately till nice aroma comes and powder them together coarsely. Just run the mixer or blender  for 5 to 8 seconds.
Mix all the powdered stuff together with salt and add the curd and mix well. Add water to bring them to pouring consistency.















Heat a sauteing pan with oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal. Once they splutter add the green chillies and grated carrot and stir for 30 seconds.
Switch off the stove. Transfer the stuff to the batter and mix well.
Grease the idli plates and fill the idli plates with the batter. Steam them out for 20 minutes.

















Super soft and healthy idlis are ready to serve with chutney and sambhar.
