Grated coconut 4 tb spoons Tamarind a small pebble size Tomatoes 3 Shallot (Baby Onions) 8 Garlic pods 5 Red chillies 5 Salt to taste Oil 2 tb spoons Mustard seeds for seasoning
How to make Coconut, Garlic & Red Chillies Chutney?
Heat a pan with 2 tea spoons of oil and fry the red chillies, onions, garlic and tomato together for 2 to 3 minutes. No need to fry for longer time. Allow them to cool down. Add tamarind salt and coconut with them and grind to paste. No need to add water. Water content in tomato is enough. Do the seasoning with rest of the oil.
