Have you ever tried Parathas with sweet potatoes? If not you have missed super soft, tasty parathas so for. One of the easiest way to include the healthy sweet potatoes in the diet. My mother in law after having this said, she likes it more than the Aloo Paratha!!

- Sweet Potatoes 4
- Whole wheat flour 3 cups
- Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
- Cumin seed powder 1/2 tea spoon
- Garam masala powder 1/4 tea spoon (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2 tea spoons
- Butter or oil for making Parathas
How to make Sweet Potato Parathas?
Wash the sweet potatoes well, and boil them in pressure cooker to soft.
Remove the skin, mash them well and keep aside.
In a broad bowl take the wheat flour, salt, chilli powder, cumin seed powder, garam masala powder and mix well with hand.
Add the mashed sweet potato to it.
Blend and mix well and make sure there are no any lumps.
Add water slowly and knead to soft chapathi dough.
Apply two teaspoons of oil on the dough and close it with a lid and set aside for 30 minutes.
Now take a large lemon size balls of the dough and make thick chapathis with a rolling pin using some wheat flour for dusting while rolling.
Heat a tawa and cook the parathas on both sides with butter ot oil.
Serve hot with any pickle and curd.
