This is an easy and tasty way to make Lady's Finger Fry coated and jazzed up with spices and tastes delicious with the flavour of onion. This masala fry is a great accompaniment for rice as well as for chapathis, rotis and phulkas. And also it is a perfect side dish to carry in lunch box too....
Wash and wipe theLady's finger well. Slit tehm into two. Then cut them into long pieces of 2 inches size.
Take the veggies in a wide bowl or plate and add the besan flour, corn flour, salt, sambar powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and mix well.Add chopped curry leaves too.
Now add the curd to it and mix well. See to it that the powders mix well with the curd and makes a paste and coated well on the lady's finger.(If you want it more spicy, you can add a tea spoon of garlic and ginger paste)
Keep them aside for 15 minutes.
Heat a wok with oil. Saute it with cumin seeds.After they splutter add the lady's finger and stir well.
Let them get fried in medium flame, Stir occasionally.
When they get half fried add the chopped onions to them and keep frying till the stuff becomes well fried and cooked.
You can also deep fry them in oil and serve as starters.
