Usual Paratha with a different taste. This time for a change I added onion paste which resulted in great hit. Here is the recipe for the Healthy, Spicy and Delicious Broccoli Paratha...
Remove the stem of the broccoli florets and wash them well. Put them in a food processor or blender or mixie and make them small grains and keep aside. If you are putting in the mixie just give 2 turns.
Then put the onions and green chillies in a jar and make them a coarse paste without adding water.
Heat a wok with oil. Saute it with cumin seeds.
Now add the onion paste and required salt and fry till they fry well.
Add the coriander seed powder and stir well.
Add the broccoli and keep sauteing.
In medium flame keep frying till the water dries out and the stuff becomes thick without water content.
Allow them to cool.
How to make Parathas?
Make chapathi dough as usual with whole wheat flour, water and less salt. Knead them to soft dough.
Take a small lemon size ball and roll to chapathi.
Spread 2 tb spoons of the broccoli stuff on it.
Make another chapathi like of the same size and place it on the one that has the stuff.
Press the edges gently with hand and roll it to thin rotis.
Cook them on both sides with ghee or oil in a tawa and serve with curd or pickle.
