Broccoli Paneer Stuffed Paratha

Healthy and Yummy Lunch box recipe that makes your kids to open their lunch box very eagerly and finish it off!!! Since ajwain is added very good for digestion. Broccoli is very rich in Vitamins, calcium, Selenium etc.,

 

 

 

 

 






Ingredients for making the Broccoli Paneer Stuffed Paratha:



For the Dough:


2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 tspn chilli powder
1 tbspn omam (ajwain)
1 tbspn oil
Required salt and water

For the filling:

Broccoli 1

Paneer (crumbled)-1 cup

Onion 1 cup finely chopped

Ginger garlic paste 1 tbspn

Chilli powder 1 tspn

Garam masala 1 tbspn


Method for making Brococoli Paneer Stuffed Paratha:


Prepare a soft dough with the ingredients given. Cook broccoli for 2 to 3 min in hot water and drain. After it cools mince it. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds followed by onion and saute for 2 minutes. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes. Add chilli and garam masala powder followed by broccoli and paneer crumbles. Saute till the mixture is dry. Let it cool down. 

 

Spread the dough ball into thick circle and stuff with 2 tblsp of the prepared broccoli. Pinch the dough towards centre to close and make a pocket. Dust and start rolling out into thick parathas. Heat tawa until hot and cook the rolled out paratha in medium flame. Drizzle oil generously and cook on both sides.


For kids we can add grated cheese to the filling.
