Bitter gourd Fry (Pagarkai Fry)




Bitter gourd Crispy Fries. Do You want to say "Bittergourd? Oh No!!!" Are you the hater of bitter gourd since your childhood? Try this crispy fry of bitter gourd that makes you to start loving the Bittergourd  and gives a perfect match to sambhar and curd rice….




Ingredients:

  

Thinly sliced Bitter gourd 1 big bowl

Corn flour 3 tb spoons

Besan flour 3 tb spoons
 
Rice flour 2 tb spoons (Optional)

Tamrind juice extracted from a small lemon size tamarind   ½ cup

Red chilli powder or Sambhar powder 3 tea spoons

Salt

Turmeric powder

Garam masala powder and Ginger garlic paste could be added if you want it to be more spicy.



Method for making Bitter gourd Fry:


Mix all ingredients with the bitter gourd slices and mix well. Add some water if needed to make the paste to coat well on the vegetable.Let them marinate for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the slices in small batches till they become golden brown and crispy.
