Method:
Cut required number of idlis into small pieces.
Chop required vegetables like onion, capsicum, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower and
whatever you have. Heat the kadai with 1
tablespoon of oil and 1 teaspoon of ghee. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Add
little salt since idlies already have enough salt. Then add green chillies, 2
tea spoons dhania powder, ½ tea spoon cumin seed powder and fry well for a
minute. Then add all the finely chopped vegetables. If you have kasoori methi that could also be added. After frying
all together for few minutes add the
idly pieces and mix well. Keep the flame in low and allow cook for 5 minutes.
Add coriander leaves. Have with tomato sauce for the lunch box.
