Cabbage Ginger Curry

Cabbage is the common vegetable and we use it regularly in our cooking. When ginger and green chilli are added to cabbage it gives out a fine aroma and it blends very well with cabbage. Try this version and enjoy with your meals...



Ingredients for making Cabbage Ginger Curry:


Chopped Cabbage : 4 cups

Grated coconut 3 table spoons

Green chillies 2

Ginger an inch piece peeled

Salt to taste 

2 table spoons of oil

Mustard seeds and Urad dhal for seasoning



Method for preparing Cabbage Ginger Curry:


Heat the kadai with 2 table spoons of oil. Add mustard seeds and urad dhal. After they splutter add turmeric powder a pinch and the chopped cabbage. Sprinkle a cup of water and salt and close it with a lid. While it boils, in a mixie powder coconut, ginger and green chilli together without water. After the cabbage gets boiled and its dry without water add the coconut, ginger and green chilli mix and mix well. Now the Cabbage Ginger Curry is ready.
