Baby Corn Manchurian is a popular Indo Chinese Vegetarian Starter loved by all. No doubt that it is an absolute starter that also gives a delicious companion to fried rice.
Ingredients needed for Baby corn Manchurian:
Baby corns 15
Finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies 2 tea spoons each
Crushed clove and cinnamon 1 tea spoon together
Garlic ginger paste 2 tea spoons
Corn flour 4 tb spoons
All purpose flor 2 tb spoons
Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Onion and Capsicum sliced into squares 1/2 cup each
Soya sauce 2 tea spoons
Green chilli sauce 1 tea spoon
Tomato sauce 1 tea spoon
Oil for deep frying
How to make Baby corn Manchurian?
Step 1
Cut the baby corns into 2 inch pieces after slitting them. Add the flors, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and required salt to them and mix well with hand. Add little water in order make the flours and spices coat well on the baby corn. Leave it aside for 30 mts. Then deep fry them in oil in small lots and keep them aside.
Step 2:
Heat a kadai with 2 tb spoons of oil. Add cumin seeds. Then add the chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Once they get well fried add crushed cinnamon and clove powder and the onions and saute for a minute. Then add the capsicum and fry. Don't fry till they become soft. Then add all the sauces and mix well.
Step 3:
Now add the fried babycorns to the kadai and stir well. The crunchy, yummy and mouth watering Manchurian is ready now. Remember to do the step 3 just before serving to enable the stuff to remain crunchy.
