Ingredients for making Yam Pakoras: (Serves 6 persons)
Yam 1/2 kg Besan flour 3 tb spoons Corn flour 3 tb spoons Rice flour 1 tb spoon Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon Finely chopped onions from 1 onion Minced Ginger 1 tea spoon Finely chopped green chillies from 3 green chillies Chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves and mint leaves as you wish Salt to taste
How to make Yam Pakoras?
Peel the skin of the yam and cut them to cubes. Pressure cook them till they become soft. After taking them out drain the water out if any.
Put them in a broad pan and mash them well with hand or a masher. Add all other ingredients mentioned above. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
Drop the Yam stuff in to small pinches into the oil and fry till they become golden brown. Transfer them to a bowl with tissue to remove extra oil. Serve hot the spicy, hot and crispy Pakoras.
