Ingredients for making Banana Sheera:
Rava / Sooji / Semolina 200 gms - 1 cup Sugar 1 and 1/2 cups Chopped banana fruits 2 or 3 Milk 2 and 1/2 cups Green cardamom powder 1/4 tea spoon Saffron strings few mixed in 2 tb spoons of warm milk (Optional) Roasted cashews and raisins few Ghee 1/2 cup
How to make Banana Sheera?
Heat a pan with 2 table spoons of ghee and fry the sooji / rava in it till nice aroma comes.
Now keep the flame low and add the milk to it and keep stirring. In few minutes you can see the rava getting cooked and becoming thick. If needed add more milk or water.
Once it is cooked add the sugar and banana pieces to it. The stuff again will get diluted when the sugar melts.
Add ghee then and there at intervals and stir till the stuff comes together without sticking to the bottom. Add the saffron milk, cashews, raisins, green cardamom powder stir well and switch off the stuff.
