A different side dish for Idiyappam, Aapam and Chappathi. This tasty Kadappa is easy to make and healthy too!!
Ingredients:
Chopped Onion 1 cup
Carrot, Beans and Potato - 2 cups together (boiled)
Capsicum 1 chopped (optional)
Green Chillies - 5 or 6
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tea spoons
Clove and Cinnamon - crushed 1 1/2 tea spoon
Well boiled Moong dal -1 cup
Coconut Milk - 2 cups
Method:
Heat the kadai with a table spoon of oil. Add cinnamon and clove. Then fry the onions and the green chillies(Capsicum if needed). Add Ginger-Garlic paste to the mixture. Fry well and add boiled vegetables and salt. Now add the boiled moong dal with a cup of water and allow to boil them for two minutes. Finally add the two cups of coconut milk and turn off in a minute. Garnish with curry leaves and serve it.
