Wheat Rava and Vermicelli Idli

An instant , healthy,soft and very tasty idli that can be made very easily. The steamed idli in golden brown tastes yummy, looks fluffy and of course spongy....

Ingredients for making Wheat Rava and Vermicelli Idli:


Wheat Rava and Roasted Vermicelli in equal ratio

Well blended curd with mild sourness 2 cups

Required water

Salt to taste

Eno salt 1/2 tea spoon

Mustard seeds, chana dal for seasoning

Oil 1 tea spoon

 














 

 

 

 

 

How to make Wheat Rava and Vermicelli Idli?


Mix the rava and vermicelli in a bowl. Add the curd and required salt and mix well with a ladle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Add necessary water to make into a pour in consistency like regular idli batter.

Now do the seasoning. Let them get soaked for 30 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grease the idli plates.

Add the eno salt now to batter, mix well and immediately pour them on the idli plates and steam for 15 to 20 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  



 

 

 

 

 

Allow them to set aside for 5 minutes after switching off the stove.

Now the healthy and tasty idlis are ready to serve with sambar or chutney.
