Schezwan Butter Dosa


A traditional South Indian Dosa made with the Chinese Fillings. This Schezwan Dosa has become a popular street food nowadays. There are many variations to enjoy this South Indian delicacy and this is one among them. Here is the recipe of the Dosa with different texture and flavour....

Ingredients for making Schezwan Butter Dosa:


Dosa batter 500 ml
Thinly sliced onions, cabbage, Capsicum, Beans, Carrot - 3 tb spoons each
Finely chopped garlic and ginger 1 tea spoon each
Garam masala powder 1/4 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Schezwan sauce 4 tb spoons
Soya Sauce 1 tea spoon
Green chilli sauce 1 tea spoon
Tomato ketchup 1 tea spoon
Oil 2 tb spoons
Unsalted Butter at room temperature 2 tb spoons




How to make Schezwan Butter Dosa?


Heat a Broad heavy bottomed pan with oil at high flame.
Fry the garlic ginger pieces for few seconds and then fry onion, capsicum for another few seconds.










Now add other vegetables, garam masala powder, salt and fry at high flame to maintain the crunchiness of vegetables.

Now add half of the schezwan sauce, green chilli sauce, ketchup and soya sauce and stir well.

The fillings is ready now.

TIPS TO MAKE DELIGHTFUL DOSAS


Heat a dosa tawa and when the tawa is hot enough (Medium hot) spread a ladle full of batter in circular motion .

Spread half teaspoon of butter on the dosa and 1 tea spoon of schezwan sauce around it.











Place 2 tb spoons of the vegetable stuffing and slightly spread it.
Roll the dosa and transfer it to a palte.
Cut it into halves or as you wish and serve hot with Chutney.
