Ingredients for making Instant Tomato Dosa:
- Rava / Sooji / Semolina 250 gms
- Urad dal 2 table spoons
- Tomatoes well ripened 4 or 5
- Green chillies and Red chillies 2 each
- Ginger a small piece of an inch size
- Oil 2 tea spoons
- Cumin seeds / Jeeragam 1/4 tea spoon
- Curd 100 ml
- Salt to taste
- Oil for making dosa
How to make Instant Tomato Dosa?
Soak Rad dal in water after washing for 30 minutes.
Soak the sooji also in water separately.
Heat a pan with oil and add cumin seeds. Once it splutters put the chillies, ginger and tomatoes and saute for 3 minutes. Allow them to cool down.
After 30 minutes in a mixer add the soaked urad dal, and the sauted items and grind to a smooth fluffy paste.
Now pour the mixture in to a broad vessel.
Add the soaked sooji , curd and required salt.
Adjust the water and bring in to pouring consistency.
The batter should be like our regular dosa batter.
Heat the dosa tawa and grease with oil.
Make Dosa and cook on both sides smearing few drops of oil and serve hot with thokku or pickle and curd.
