Tomato Dosa

 

A different Dosa from the usual Dosa. Since tomato is added this dosa looks in Pink colour and hence kids love to have this. This tomato dosa can be made easily and just a cup of curd and Gun powder  is enough for side dish. Very ideal for evening tiffin or dinner since it has to be eaten hot.

Ingredients for making Tomato Dosa:


Parboiled Rice 1 1/2 cups

Raw Rice 1/2 cup

Urad dal 1/2 cup

Red ripened tomatoes 5 or 6

Red chillies 3

Onions 2

Salt to taste



How to make Tomato Dosa?


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wash the Rice and dal together and soak them for 3 hours. Grind them with salt, Red chillies, Tomatoes and chopped onions to a smooth batter in a mixie. Make Dosas as usual. Dosa can be made immediately after grinding. Tastes very well if made after 4 or 5 hours. Pinky and Crispy Dosas make you to ask for More!!!!!
