Classic Raitha

Ingredients for making Classic Raitha:


Sweet corn 1 cup
Finely chopped capsicum from 1 capsicum
Chopped tomatoes from 1 firm tomato
Finely chopped cilantro and spring onions 2 tb spoons each
Green chillies very fienly chopped 1 tea spoon
Ginger finely grated 1/2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 tea spoon
Roasted cumin seed powder 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Fresh Curd 250 ml




How to make Classic Raitha?


Steam or microwave the corns for few minutes and keep aside.
Heat a pan with 1 tea spoon oil and add mustard seeds. 

After they splutter add onions, capsicum, corn, green chillis. ginger and tomato and give a fast stir. Add salt too. Do the stir for 10 to 15 seconds in high flame and switch off the stove. 















After the stuff gets cooled down add the spring onions and cilantro. Before serving mix this stuff with curd , sprinkle the cumin seed powder and relish the classic raitha with any spicy Indian food.
